qPCR service costs vary based on the type of assay, number of samples, and complexity of your project. At ARQ Genetics, we offer transparent pricing with no hidden fees:
Standard qPCR Service Costs:
- SYBR Green assays: $50 per gene (one-time cost for up to 1,000 samples) – our most cost-effective option for large sample sets
- TaqMan assays: $225 per gene (inventoried assays, up to 100 samples) or $325 per gene (custom made-to-order assays)
- Per-sample analysis: $16.50 per sample per gene (triplicate wells) or $15 (duplicate wells)
Multi-Gene Panel Costs:
For researchers profiling multiple genes, we offer custom SYBR Green-based panels at exceptional value: $1,200 one-time setup (up to 90 genes plus 5 endogenous controls), with additional samples at $200 each. This is significantly more cost-effective than commercial platforms for large gene sets.
What’s Included in Our qPCR Service Cost:
Unlike some providers, our pricing includes comprehensive services with no surprise charges: assay design and validation, all reagents and consumables, expert data analysis with ΔΔCt calculations, proper controls and quality checks, and publication-ready results delivered within 5 business days. Optional add-ons like RNA isolation ($40/sample) and RNA integrity assessment ($30/sample) are clearly priced.
Comparing qPCR Service Costs:
When evaluating qPCR service costs, consider the total value. In-house qPCR requires equipment investment ($30,000-$100,000+), maintenance contracts, reagent inventories, personnel training, and troubleshooting time. Many researchers find our transparent pricing more cost-effective, especially for occasional or moderate-volume projects.
